Are you ready to take your creativity to new heights? The Design and Prototyping HUNCH Program invites students of all skill levels to embark on an exciting journey to develop groundbreaking solutions to real-life challenges faced by our astronauts aboard the International Space Station (ISS) and going to the moon.
Design and Prototype is a program where students are encouraged to solve a NASA problem by developing a solution in their head and then building a series of progressively improving and working models to demonstrate their ideas. Student teams will explain and defend their working prototype to NASA engineers as they improve their project.
This is your opportunity to make a tangible impact on the lives of those who explore beyond our planet. Whether you're a budding inventor, a passionate problem-solver, or just curious about the wonders of space, this program is tailored for you.
Join us in this thrilling adventure where your ideas can soar among the stars. Let’s work together to push the boundaries of innovation and make history—one prototype at a time! Get ready to design, prototype, and launch your dreams into the cosmos!
At the moment, you may find present and past information about NASA HUNCH Design and Prototyping at:

I am currently transitioning the NASA HUNCH website to be the primary website for the Design and Prototyping site to consolidate with the NASA HUNCH information. I will eventually bring all of the hunch design information to this website and close it down later.
